Latest Update 14 June 2008 Welcome to the Peaks & Pennines MX5 Owners Club Website Peaks and Pennines feature on Mazda's Community web site click here Peaks and Pennines is just one of 33 areas that make up the National MX5 Owners Club and the year 2007 has seen Peaks and Pennines grow into a successful and thriving community of like minded individuals and attracting new members all the time. During the summer of 2007 the club was also featured in two local magazines putting P & P firmly on the map. Click here for the article. We are also fortunate to have in our region some of the most wonderful scenery and roads in the country (we're biased of course) including the Peak District, the Derbyshire Dales, the Pennines and South Yorkshire Forest to name but just a few.
Two Clans Unite on the Scotland Trip You are more than welcome to come and "dip your toe in the water" at any one of our events and see just what goes on for yourself. Check out the Events page for more details.
Our activities during 2007 have included ten pin bowling against another area of the National MX5 owners club which was fun especially for those of us that had never done it before. A pie and peas night with quiz was a perfect opportunity to park up the cars for a change and simply have a good natter over a pint or two. This is also an excellent opportunity to get to know your fellow members and swap motoring tales and experiences.
2007 also saw Peaks and Pennines stamp its mark on the Rotherham motor show with the single biggest marque turnout, beating the likes of Ford! Even the speed freaks amongst us are catered for with organised track days and performance driving with Mazda Hot Laps. We finished off the Year with our annual Christmas Meal which followed a run around Derbyshire with decorated cars and Santa no less! So you see there is something for everyone and 2008 is looking to be even better. Have a good look around the site, check out the members galleries and just see what your missing out on!
