Weekly Runs

Each week, come rain or shine we have what's called the Roadster Run, so called because its not just open to MX5's but any type of roadster.  The philosophy that we have adopted is simple, to bring together other like minded individuals and simply  enjoy our cars. The recipe has brought together the marques of MG, Lotus and remember the reliant SS1? to mention just a few. So if you want to join us for a run and a coffee then come along to:

Heatherdene car park at 11am adjacent to the Ladybower reservoir on the A6013 just north of Bamford. See map below.

MEETING POINT

For further location details visit Google Maps here and type "Ladybower Hope Valley"

See you there!

The two centre strategy alternating between Cubley Hall Penistone and The Phoenix Ridgeway Sheffield. This hopefully makes it easier for geographical dispersed P & P members and their friends to attend.

The 3rd Annual Serpentine Charity Run presented by Cheshire Lotus Owners Group.

Sunday the 29th June 2008

The event is open to all types of classic car and motorbike and will start from 9am at The Buxton Community School and involve a route though the Peak District National Park taking in some of the UK’s most beautiful scenery.
Entrants will be given their route maps at the registration point, where they can also get refreshments (tea, coffee, bacon butties and the like), and from where they will also be started at regular intervals.
The journey will be approximately 100miles and will involve several stops at places of interest as well as stops for refreshments etc and will culminate in a display of all the cars at the finish line in one of the Peak Districts historic locations (it’s a secret until you get there) around mid afternoon.
This is not a race and the planned journey time though the Peak District is to be around 4 hours to allow you to enjoy the scenery, stop for lunch or a picnic as well as enjoy your driving experience.
There will be an entry fee of £10 per car, which should enable a substantial donation to the chosen local charities.
